Our Team
Sebastian Fabres
(Creative Director/Cinematographer/Editor)
Sebastian Fabres is an American / Latino filmmaker based in New York City. He is the Creative Director of Leon Cinema and Media and a summa cum laude graduate of the New York Film Academy. As a director, cinematographer, and editor, he works across commercials, music videos, and narrative film, guiding projects from development through production and post with a strong sense of authorship.
Working across narrative films, commercials, and music videos, Sebastian’s directing is rooted in performance and emotional restraint. His work is drawn to subtext, prioritizing atmosphere and human behavior over exposition. His perspective is deeply informed by his Dominican and Chilean heritage, which shapes his sensitivity to identity, family, and emotional complexity.
As a cinematographer, Sebastian favors motivated movement, emotionally driven lighting, and intentional composition, often using negative space and controlled contrast to externalize a character’s inner state.
As an editor, he focuses on rhythm and emotional continuity, shaping scenes through performance-driven timing, restraint, and silence, balancing deliberate pacing with narrative clarity and psychological depth.
Yuto Yamada
(Photographer/Director/Colorist)
Yuto Yamada is a photographer, colorist, and director originally from Japan. He began his career as a club photographer before expanding into celebrity, portrait, and product photography. As a director, Yuto specializes in music videos and commercials. He grew up in a music-industry family in Japan and also has Jamaican roots, both of which have a strong influence on his visual style and creative approach.
Yuto developed a deep focus on color grading to elevate his storytelling. He began color grading projects for college peers and has since graded all of his own work, refining a signature look that ties together his photography and directing projects.

(Director/Gaffer)
Alexis Montesinos is a Mexican director and gaffer whose work grows from close observation of everyday life. A graduate of the New York Film Academy, he began his career in the camera department as a grip. This experience shaped his understanding of cinema as a physical language built through space, movement, and light.
Working across narrative films, commercials, and music videos, Alexis moves fluidly between directing and lighting with a strong sense of authorship. His films are drawn to quiet moments, drifting conversations, and gestures that carry emotional weight, prioritizing feeling, silence, and lived experience over plot-driven storytelling.
As a gaffer, he has worked on short and feature-length projects in New York, Chicago, and Mexico, as well as high-profile events including the 2025 Met Gala and CFDA Awards. His work reflects a distinctly Mexican perspective rooted in observation, emotional precision, and honest human stories.
